Installing

Linux

A static binary that runs on any distribution. The current release is 2026.2; the changelog lists what each release changed.

x86_64 (SHA-256)
arm64 (SHA-256)

Each archive holds moin-server, a starting moin-server.toml, the licence and third-party notices. Unpack it and install the binary:

tar -xzf moin-server-2026.2-x86_64-unknown-linux-musl.tar.gz
sudo install moin-server-2026.2-x86_64-unknown-linux-musl/moin-server /usr/local/bin/
moin-server --version

Docker

The image is ghcr.io/moinchat/moin-server, for amd64 and arm64:

sh

docker pull ghcr.io/moinchat/moin-server:latest
