Noise suppression ​

Moin removes background noise from your microphone before anyone hears it. You can choose how it does that.

Choose a suppressor ​

Open Settings, and in Audio set Noise suppression:

  • RNNoise (recommended, and the default) handles steady noise and also typing and voices in the background, for very little CPU. It takes a few seconds to adjust to a new noise.
  • Sonora handles steady noise, such as a fan or hum.

The change applies straight away, even in a call. On desktop, choose Check audio in Settings to hear the difference.
