Added

• Moderators and administrators can move a member of their room to another room, or out of it, with Move to and Remove from room in the member's menu; both people need Moin 2026.2 or later.
• People who run a server can create an invitation that makes whoever opens it an administrator or moderator, with moin-server admin invites create --role admin or --role moderator, and it also raises the role of a device that is already a member.
• When someone opens an invite link, Moin 2026.2 and later tell them what it did, such as making them a moderator or that they were already a member.
• public_addresses under [server.coordinator] sets the addresses the server advertises, so it no longer needs to look up its own hostname.
• Sending the server SIGHUP reloads its name, max_connected_devices and the [access] settings without a restart.

Changed

• Kicking a device also revokes the invitation it joined with, if that invitation could still let someone in.

Fixed

• The server no longer stops at startup when its own hostname can't be looked up yet; it keeps trying in the background.
