Watching screen shares
When someone in your room shares their screen, their row in the room list shows it. Select the screen icon on their row to watch.
On a computer
Shares open in a separate viewer window. You can watch up to four at once: each share you open becomes a tile in that window.
- Arrange. Tiles lay themselves out: two side by side, three as one beside two, four in a grid. Drag the gap between tiles to resize them. To make one tile large with the others in a strip beside it, move the pointer over it and choose Enlarge this screen share; choose it again to go back.
- Zoom. Scroll over a tile to zoom in, and drag to move around. Double-click to zoom in or back out. The controls at the bottom of the tile also zoom, reset the view, and choose how the share fits the tile.
- Sound. Every share starts muted. Move the pointer over a tile and choose Unmute screen share to hear it. Only one share plays at a time, so unmuting one mutes the others.
- Fullscreen. View fullscreen on any tile fills the display with the whole window. Press Esc to leave.
- Close. Close a tile to stop watching that share. Closing the window stops them all.
The window holds four shares. To watch a fifth, close one first.
Each share you watch is a full video stream, so several at once use more of your computer and your connection than one does.
On a phone or tablet
You watch one share at a time. When more than one person is sharing, tap the sharer's name at the top to switch to another share. Tap the picture to show the controls.
